A human rights advocate based in the DC area, deeply involved in community organization and advocacy. As a Federal Policy Manager for African Communities Together (ACT), Nils has successfully led numerous advocacy campaigns, including those for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for DRC, Mali, South Sudan, and Ethiopia and Humanitarian Parole for Sudan. Beyond his professional role, Nils is dedicated to community service, volunteering as an English teacher at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Virginia, where he helps adult immigrant students develop their English skills. Nils has also contributed significantly as the Immigration Coordinator and Board Director for the Congolese Community of Washington Metropolitan (CCWM).
